Foodie in Krabi
Our fanciest meal in Krabi with poached eggs done right. 10/10 would eat this again.
Quick lunch stop at a random food stall before entering the Emerald Pool, where we had awesome Thai-style maggi goreng and crispy Thai omelette. Proves that some of the most delicious discoveries you make are often unplanned for.
Cheap eats are aplenty in Krabi, but here’s one that’s actually worth the calories. We spotted this street stall across the road from Vogue Department Store in Krabi Town and was immediately lured by the prospect of crispy roast pork.
It looks like a tiny portion with barely any meat, but oh, that soft fat and crunchy crackling were to die for; served on tasty chicken rice, too. And better yet was the free tom yum soup that you get to help yourself to from a huge pot that’s kept simmering non-stop – probably one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.
Went to the night market for dinner, which had looked promising but turned out to be quite a dud, save for this particular pancake stall that we picked from the handful there because the boss looked like he took flipping dough very serious business.
Thrilled to hear he’s open every day, so I guess y’all know what I’m gonna be eating for the next two nights I’m here.
