Cafe Hopping
Say hello to the three little piggies - Sausages, Pork Belly, and Spam. This sinful combination was hard to pass up on first glance of the menu being such a meat lover. Your conscience is going to guilt trip you after you’re down, but since you’re already thinking of a burger... a little more calories wouldn’t hurt right?
Love the presentation of it coming in a spam can to remind you of how sinful each of these sticks are... I still think the Chinese luncheon meats taste better than these versions, but the batter and crunch you get from this dish is spot on!
They have mastered the art of making soft, light and fluffy pancakes. Wished they were more generous with their toppings though, these pancakes a probably best enjoyed with a big heap spoonful of ice cream and loads of fruits around the plate!
Super fluffy and surprisingly light. These pancakes jiggle at the slightest touch to the delight of all the boomerang crazy fans.
The pork belly simply melts in your mouth and they balance that with bits of crispy ramen, white fluffy rice, pickled cucumber, and an onsen egg with miso cream that binds everything together. Some might feel there’s too much going on in the bowl but I really did enjoy it.
Just love the packaging of this drink as it comes in this cutely labeled bottle, but what’s great about it was the drink itself. The tea flavour was Super gao and the sweetness was on point for my taste. It’s also a lovely cafe to come chill and hang out and enjoy this beverage.
Soft, fluffy and delightful! Could maybe do with a nice scoop of ice cream along with some fresh fruits, but they really take all of this soufflé business quite seriously in this cafe! Nice finish to the meal.
At first glance, this looks like something your mom whipped up with whatever that is left over in the fridge... don’t let the appearance fool you though! You’ll find an onsen egg, sausages, spinach, tomatoes, eggplants, mushrooms and bacon all randomly put together with spaghetti which sounds pretty normal, but there’s a special shoyu sauce that brings it all together. It really elevates the umami to such an enjoyable level!
Taking baked rice to a whole different level, didn’t really know what I ordered but I’m Glad I did. This version had a curry sauce with lots of goodies like vegetables, sausages and meat. The star of the show is what’s on top though... a soufflé egg mountain topped with cheese baked to perfection that jiggles at the slightest touch!
Beneath the blanket of perfectly melted cheese are the molten eggs sitting on top of a thin tortilla (I think). That itself is enough to be the star of any dish, but that’s not all... around it you’ll find an avocado showcasing the kitchen’s knife skills, rolls of smoked salmon, plump cherry tomatoes and a bed of greens to complete the meal. Be sure to grab a cup of coffee to go along with this while you’re here!
