Available in 3 flavours - Pork, Kimchi and Japchae. The balance between the skin and filling was just right. Only the flavour for japchae was pale in comparison to the other 2 flavours.
Requested for less spicy and i am glad i did that. Dumpling was quite small without much filling but the soup was quite flavourful. The kimchi soup was indeed and just level of the spiciness and sourness that i love.
Egg roll topped with kimchi and mayo in alternate. Fyi, there isn’t any ham in the egg roll, it appears in the name just because the texture tasted like luncheon ham.
Dakgalbi done in a non-spicy way. Instead of having it spicy, this was slightly sweet and light on the palate.
Love their seafood pancake here! It was loaded with lots of ingredients and the portion was huge.
One of the new dish that we tried is this super huge pork katsu that was served with rice, canned beans and shredded cabbages. Pork katsu was deep-fried till golden brown and it was very crispy! The pork meat was not too tough, just nice for the palate.
Clear ginseng chicken soup broth with chicken in the pot. It was served piping hot with bubbles showing that the pot was served immediately after being cooked on the stove. Glutinous rice was stuffed in the chicken.
Tucked away in a small corner at Bukit Timah Plaza, there is a family-run korean restaurant. Food was good and reasonably priced. Ban chan was complimentary and free-flow.
There is another smaller version too but this bigger one is enough to feed 4 person. Korean hotpot with lots of ingredients such as beef, enoki mushroom, toppokki and lots of leeks.
Glass noodle was stir-fry with assorted veggie and some spicy sauce. Topped with chicken and shrimp, cheese was drizzled on the top. It comes with a salsa side but we forget to bring it down and it became warm instead!
Served on a sizzling hotplate, cheese was so gooey and warm. Not very cheesy but flavour was good. It was topped with more shredded chedder cheese at the top.
Interesting dessert pizza with black rice dough as base. Sweet potato mousse almost covered the whole pizza topped with chicken ham, roasted onion, honey almond flakes and icing sigar. Thick crust with cream cheese mousse gives the double sweetness to the pizza!
