The prized and famed Rubia Galleda is priced at RM75 min depending on the cut.
Was disappointed that the bone marrow wasn’t available. And also the service of this place. Wanted to order two different cuts and different type of beef, instead the waiter told us that the minimum weight was 800gms per serving, talking bout a porterhouse or ribeye here, cos they can’t make it smaller ?!
The food. Meat was decent. However, my medium rare was about as cooked as another’s medium done. It was quite tough and chewy tbh. The fats could be rendered better too.
Sauce- salsa verde was delicious. Beef jus not too bad either.
Sides - mashed potatoes tasted like powdered potatoes mash instead of actual potatoes. Brussel sprouts tasted like sprouts.

I’ve been here since I was a kid. So it sparks fond memories. Best thing about them is they open all day and all night till like 5 or 6am which makes em perfect for supper. I love the coagulated pork blood (which is rare to find in KL), siham, Suan la Cai (sour spicy mustard green) and their daily soup is delish! If you eat a lot, costs around 20 bucks per person.
