Had a good first impression of the restaurant, when we were served chrysanthemum tea and the appetizer of refreshing achar. Sadly, it all went downhill from there.
The server accidentally spilled fish soup on a large area of my shoes but just walked away pretending nothing happened, not even apologising or offering tissues for me to clean up. Then, we found a curly hair in our pork lard. Looking from the reviews, this isn't the first time hair was found in their food. Suffice to say we didn't touch the lard after that.
The fish soup broth was milky and flavourful, but the fish slices were close to tasteless. You can get better, cheaper fish soup at the food centre just a 5 min walk away. And that is what I will do next time.
Price: S$11.40 per pax and lots of disappointment
