3 Nollar ... 3 Dollar Treats !
Similar to a soon kueh , only much better .
Lucky to have had my cravings satisfied last week before the changes in regulations.
Not a comfortable place to dine in as before since it gets crowded after they have been populated all over social media .
The white bee Hoon is tasty and not greasy and the egg is well made - gooey yolk :)
The homemade bread and hainan kaya is good as always :)
Finally had my fair share of trying the pratas here since it is so sickeningly crowded on weekends.
Crisp prata that is non greasy with a Super Gao fish curry sauce that holds the prata well .
Nice !
Hard to come by handmade paus with homemade fillings these days
This black sesame pau is definitely a must-have !

In a relatively new establishment by Sim’s ngoh hiang - a family start up during the covid period.
They are famed for their ngoh hiangs as I see from social media but what really recalled wowed me was the fried shrimp bee Hoon and that wicked chilli. The bee Hoon was tasty but not salty , moist but not greasy. Not something that can be achieved easily without a master behind the wok. Feels like food from your mum’s kitchen.
Must must order that fried bee Hoon ! Amazing .
Best I have had .
Perfect and fresh egg prata everytime at cafe O.
Paired with a delicious curry sauce.
For all you max griddle and coffee fans of MacDonald’s :)
In this forgotten building lies a small eating place at the basement ( near the lift lobby ) - this makes the best breakfast meal .
The bee Hoon was so good - I almost had to order another plate .
Moist , non greasy , tender with strands of noodles inside for a good bite ; the bee Hoon was mildly sweet in a comfortable way .
Paired with an overeasy egg which had a molten yolk .
The homemade chilli was excellent to pair with the bee Hoon.
Man by 2 old aunties - you won’t see the bee Hoon on display unless you ask for it .
The regulars go back for their prawn fritters and fried carrot cake slices .
Pretty tender and well marinated chicken .
Aburi- en is part of the en dining group and offers value for money and fresh grilled meats and fish.
Portion is a little small for the price but for the quality of meat and execution - still pretty ok .
Would be nice if rice was included in the set .
At the basement of Bugis Junction is a stall that sells crispy egglets .
Didn’t recall that it used to be so expensive at 2.90 but rather than travelling to Hk - this is definitely a cheaper option .
Makes a nice snack for anytime of the day .
Not recommended to share - one is just enough 🤣
In a signless stall at the market selling coffee powder , traditional biscuits and new year cookies , you can find these delectable salty bean biscuits which are so fresh and crisp - one of the better ones I have eaten in a long while . Just 2 dollars 🤣.
Don’t forget to grab a tin of their lovely handmade love letters - the prices are so cheap you won’t believe :)
Such a treasure in an old estate .
This stall opens till 8 pm daily and it is about 5 steps away from Milky Way cafe at Tanglin halt .
Really loving the scones from fredo.
Extremely moist , fragrant and not too sweet .
The items here are not cheap - but quality is assured .
