Arigato! ππ
Pork cutlet is super crispy and the fried egg was a nice touch and addition!
Comes with both torched and sashimi salmon lay on top of a bed of japanese rice. Sashimi was very fresh and torched salmon is a nice touch to spice the boring salmon don with a different flavour.
A whole new range of selection from the japanese curry house. Going with their new beef yakiniku on this visit with level 2 on its curry. Sliced beef was thick and kind of chewy but still goes well witb the rice. However, i believe they change the curry receipe because it doesnβt taste like what i remember from my previous visit... about... 2 years ago? Maybe?
For the price and portion of this hotpot, this is definitely a steal! A pot full of ingredient such as mushrooms, toufu, assorted vegetables and inari is filled to the brim of the pot and topped with another big slab of salmon. This pot would have be able to sell for 2-3 times more at those established japanese restaurant.
Definitely a recommendation for me from this place, the price and taste wise is a thumb up for me.
A staple piece of dish for most japanese restaurant that was on the same standard as some of the mid-range japanese restaurant. Would have prefer it to be a little raw-er but probably they are catering it to the younger crowds since this is within a heartland mall.
Chance upon this japanese eatery at basement 2 of PLQ. They have a variety of selections from ala carte dishes to hotpot and don. We ordered their maki roll as interestingly the maki roll came in a purple rice which is a healthier choice. The soft shell crab is wrapped with purple rice and topped with tobiko and savoury laksa sauce. Flavours are put together nicely with a hint of local touch. This piece of fusion food is definitely a well-done to me!
Seasonal special for this month is featuring Curry Ramen. Fried shallots in slices was overloaded from the curry sauce. As the special sauce for Curry Ramen is unable to choose, this was quite spicy for me.
Ordered their normal beef version and did not regret. Juicy and tender sliced beef cooked in sukiyaki style. Topped with other ingredient such as big slice of braised toufu, mushroom and assortment of vegetables. Super awe by how Keisuke can manage to maintain so many outlets selling different food.
Seize the promotion on klook and i get to enjoy this pot of goddness for just 10 over bucks! It was a set in M size with the unagi rice, chawamushi and soup. The unagi was grilled to charred, crispy on the outside but i canβt taste much of the unagi itself. The tokoyo sauce that he recommend was very light.
The F1 wagyu was brought to our table together with a filled pushchart. The beef and other vegetables are cook on the spot using sweet miso. The beef was really juciy because it was soak nicey in the sweet miso.
Chicken dumplings was pan seared and it comes with a super thin layer of skin at the bottom. Chicken meat is quite juicy with the thin dumpling skin, makes it a good combination.
Layers of thin sliced pork wrapped around a heap of beansprouts. The pork bone broth was cooked on our table and we will have to dissmantle this βmountainβ. It was quite a huge portion that can feed more than 3 pax in our group.
