Places to Eat Around Desa Sri Hartamas
What better way to cool off on a hot day than to have a Smoked Cognac ice-cream (RM9.90). Usually I'm a fan of their Chocolate Bailey's but I decided to try something new since that wasn't available today. It turned out to be a great idea as the taste profiles were similar but as usual, the ice-cream lives up to it's name as the taste of Cognac punches through. Still one of the best alcoholic ice-cream joints around the Klang Valley.

Decided to pop by Thailicious for lunch with my colleagues to try something besides the usual mixed rice around my workplace. Had the Kow Ka Moo which was basically stewed pork with rice and I got a set which came with a drink and a dessert (RM 14.90). My other colleagues had the Tom Yam chicken rice (RM10.90) and the boat noodles which were well received as well.
The pork itself was really good as it was well-seasoned and it just breaks down on the push of a fork. The drink and dessert on the other hand were nothing to scream for though and in fact, the drink was way too sweet.
The place had a nice ambience and there was a separate smoking area which allows other patrons to eat in comfort. All in all, it's a nice place to have lunch in between work since the food is good and does not take too long to be served. While the stewed pork didn't really come across as Thai per se, it was indeed well executed and I would recommend giving this dish a try on your visit there.
