This is without the egg but i believe the pork cutlet portion is slightly bigger.
This surprise me when it was serve to my table. Not the size but the chicken. I was expecting grilled teriyaki chicken but it came out to be fried chicken drizzled with teriyaki sauce. Layered on top of an egg bed and rice. Second visit to Monster Curry after so many years and i still can’t appreciate their curry with that “heart shaped” chili oil.
Mildly sourish tomato base sauce poured over penne pasta cooked al dente and topped it off with swedish meatballs. Meatball is juicy and tender as before but smaller in size.
Now it only offers in plate of 4 or 6 pieces. Crispy chicken skin that is pair it off with tender and juicy chicken meat. Same great taste as before.
I think i have not step into Ikea since 5-6 years ago. This is a new addition to their menu from before. Salmon meat ball with seasoned with seaweed and lemongrass. Texture was abit dry and tasted quite fishy. Comes with mashed potato and mixed fennel and cabbage. Definitely a healthier option as compared to their famous swedish meatball.
Tomahawk steak was deep fried and pour it over with this savoury black curry sauce. The sauce was a tad too saltish but the beef was quite well prepared. Just stick to the usuals will do!
Sweet potato fries topped with melted guyere cheese, mashmallow and sour cream. Interesting topping of sweet and savoury, would definitely order this the next round!
It comes with a side vege and miso soup. The sauce come separately for you to pour in the amount you prefer.
One of the many porridge set available in this taiwanese cafe. This set comes with sweet potato porridge as the main with fried fish skin and pork cutlet. It also comes with a cold vege side with an egg. Fried fish skin is coated with salted egg sauce but not really to my liking. Some of the fish skin is soggy though. Some of the pork cutlet is quite tough, require some strength from my teeth to bite through. However, the porridge is not too shabby. There is a subtle sweet corn taste from the porridge and most importantly, they serve it warm!
Pan roasted turkey served with sides such as pumpkin, carrots and asparagus
Smoked duck breast with portobello mushroom and freshly mashed pumkin soup.
Pan seared barramundi fillet served on a bed of mushed potato and chardonnary sauce together with raw spinach.
