Staple brunch items, sourdough toast topped with scrambled eggs, mushroom tossed with black truffle oil and crispy kale. Love that they spiced up the scrambled eggs with turmeric which gives the eggs another dimension of taste.
Brussel sprouts was nicely charred and drizzled with balsamic vinegar that gives this plate of veggie balls a slight sweet taste.
Fresh from their baking tray. This is a sharing platter for 2 so we have 2 servings for all choices on the platter. Both the plain crossiant and the pain au chocolat are baked to really crispy on the outer layer. The chocolate filling from the Pain Au Chocolat has just the right sweetness. Crossiant was not too flakey and it goes very well with the french butter and jam!
MEGA LOVE FOR THIS CAFE 😍😍 First visit and it surprises me alot! Nice truffle paste was scrambled together with the eggs and served it with a side of salad. Topped it off with a slice of rustic bread to add some carbs on top of the heap of proteins and healthy fats. Really really love this truffle scrambled eggs, subtle truffle taste that does not overpower the eggs but gives a nice additonal touch and taste.
Tomato soup comes with a side of cheese toast! Soup was those thick kind with some olive oil drizzled on the top.
Mix fresh raw vegetables in a bowl with a side of honey balsamic dressing. Clean diet before CNY feasting!
Instead of truffle oil, it was truffle sauce here! Take the hot and crispy sweet potato fries and dip it into the sauce for that extra oomp of truffle. The truffle sauce is really the highlight here, super flavourful!
Spruce have been in this area for years and the crowd has yet to diminish!
Needed some extra protein after my run. Swap out the corn waffles base for ciabatta bread as a healthier alternative. The pulled pork was quite spicy though, definitely have to go with the bread for me. Poached egg was well done, runny yolk flows out after a cut into the egg. Somehow the yolk does helps in curbing the spiciness of the pork.
It has been a common sides on most of the cafe menu now. But not everyone can execute this well. However, the fries here are coated with strong truffles oil and not too jelak. Just one not very friendly thing about this cafe is the portion size is abit small though 😅
Tortilla chips as the base, topped with red salsa, pinto bean and pulled pork. Drizzled with chamomile yogurt before finishing off with a fried egg on top of the “mess”. Messy but simple piece of yums!
First time trying this superfood which is reported to provide more iron than beef per ounce. Cooked kale has a nice crunch, and is drizzled with cranberry vingertte that gives an extra taste to the crunchy nutrient powerhouse. Salmon is nicely half-done, crispy skin with soft and tender meat that goes well with the cauliflower puree at the side. End of with a poached egg to bring a perfect end to the protein-packed brunch on a lazy Sunday morning.
Toasted white bread topped with freshly mashed avocado, poached eggs and rocket leaves. Topped up another $3 for smoked salmon. Simple and wholesome ingredient for a healthy weekend!
