Bandung, Indonesia.
A popular bakery shop for traveler & tourist. If you want a taste of their local cakes & snacks, this is definitely the place to go. They have a WIDE variety of cakes, pastry, snacks, etc. The main highlight is their pisang bolen (banana pastry).
Go crazy.
Came across this street vendor selling durian ice-cream at the street of Jalan Riau. Paid 5,000 rupiah for this (roughly around SGD$0.50).
Soft-served durian ice cream (homemade apparently) served with a whole flesh of durian, topped off with another thin layer of ice-cream and a drizzle of gula melaka on top.
Relaxing cafe with nice garden and great view. There is a band playing on Sunday, making this place even nicer.
Food is okay. But could be improved.
Restaurant is surrounded by rainforest atmosphere that made customers eat in such a quiet & calming ambience with river stream and rustling leaves atmosphere. Serves Sundanese food however, in my opinion, a bit overpriced with not much variation.
This is a must-go-to spot if you're visiting Bandung! A whole stretch of street vendors selling food & snacks at a very affordable prices through their mini boats. Concept is pretty cool, you have to purchase coins in variations of 500-2,000 rupiahs to pay for your food to the vendors. I'd recommend buying a few dishes and share among your friends.
MUST TRY: pisang goreng cheese, rabbit-meat satay, tahu goreng (spicy), mee bakso.
