Hokkaido kaarage-bigger than normal karage. Really crispy and juicy, i think the batter was thicker than usual karage 4/5

Japanese pub kind of restaurant on japan food town Not really a drinker, only had their food, was pretty good. Wagyu Curry rice with roast beef-normally i like thicker curry, but even though their' isnt exactly runny, it is still rich and tasty. not really spicy, has chunks of beef with it. To top it of, sliced of roast beef and runny egg yolk, really nice curry dice 4.25/5

Affordable nasi padang around kiliney road. Had meat, and 3 veggies for $8. The chicken rendang taste definitely like an indonesian version rendang, the drier yet very rich. Other toppings i had was veggies in peanut sauce, egg (somehow counted as veg) and sambal goreng. 4/5

I dont actually remember the name of the place 😅, but was a tendon specialty restaurant.Ebi, veggies, chicken seafood all in one. Crisp and light batter. The sauce really helps giving contrast to all that crispiness 4/5

Pretty much has all the elements of hitsumabushi? Tbh though, this one is more fuss free when it comes to eating? Their unagi is still great 4.5/5

Comes with gyoza and miso. Omelette over rice, like omurice but served with a thick eggy broth. Teriyaki was mediocre, gyoza was decent but the creamy egg with the broth was nice 3.75/5

Another one of the food stalls in the market on wheels event. Tender chewy grilled beef with onsen eggs. 4.25/5

Apparently there is this traditional way of eating this: dividing into four portions and eating them differently on each portion.kinda tried all during the first portion 😂. have to be said though, eating this unagi as it is, is the best way 4.25/5

Im sure i ate here or was it another ramen restaurant 😅. Dont usually eat or is a fan of ramen but theirs was actually good. yakibuta ramen with tonkotsu soup and chicken katsu cost $23.9. Add dorayaki for $4.9 as a set 4/5

Well the rice was not that fragrant or that coconutty, but i do its condiments, tofu and liver especially. 3.75/5 while the donut is tough, taste wise was not bad 3.75/5

Noodle was just okay tbh, like the thicker chewy kind more. Bbq pork was decent but roast pork was pretty good. Really crispy but still tender 3.75/5
