Finished off the meal with an Apple Crumble, that somehow took a fashionably long time to be served but was well worth the wait. Tinge of ginger and whiskey with the caramel sauce on the ice cream was pretty interesting.

Went for the Iberico Presa (Pork) for our mains, and it was so sinfully good with the right amount of char and fats. Love, love the accompanying sides of Scallion Salad, Red Potato Salad, Charred Broccoli - a mix of asian-western fusion that complemented the meat reay well.

Special Vday 9-course menu that included some of their signatures like the Bacon & Spring Onion Roll with Sour Cream & Chives Butter and Burrata with Grilled Kale.

Finally got the chance to try the burger from @hambaobao! Went there on a weekday afternoon, just before they open and managed to avoid the snaking queue which followed after.

Generous chunks of crispy Siow Bak with english mustard, hoisin sauce (reminds me of Peking duck!!) and cucumber sandwiched between two soft, buttery buns. Also added the Hand-Cut Fries for just $2.50. The kinda burger we never knew we needed. Love it!

Who knew bakkwa can be used in so many different ways and still taste so good? Wasn't expecting much tbh but it turned out pretty impressive!

Ordered (in sequence) the Chicken Roulade ($22), Chili Crab Fettuccine ($24), Fish Risotto ($20), Grilled Chicken with Alfalfa ($18) and Mozzarella Katsu ($10). The first 2 items were my favourites. Love how the bakkwa gives all the dishes that extra crunch and sweetness. No bakkwa in the Fettuccine, but I dare say it's one of the best (and spiciest) Chili Crab pasta I've had! All redeemed using @burpple 1-for-1 🙌

Probably the closest we can get to Japan during this pandemic! Took a mini day trip out to the west to try out the new @joya_onsencafe. Booked the private onsen and had these refreshments as an add-on.

Nothing too fancy but it was really satisfying especially after taking a hot bath! The Hokkaido Honey Milk Ice Cream is a definite must have for those with a sweet tooth. We also added the Ichigo San ($9.80) and the Crispy Mushroom Fritters with Nori Mayo Dip ($8) to fill the stomach 😋

Finally trying the korean food at @ajummasg, managed to avoid the queues when we went there towards their closing hours (afternoon). Very satisfying bowl of noodles and it comes with free-flow sides too. The crispy pork belly reminds alot of the Chinese sio bak 烧肉 though.

The closest we can get to Taiwan for now 🇹🇼😂

Finally trying the new dishes from @chunky.lobsters and their new space at @orchardcentral. They are back with a new and revamped dine-in concept, bringing back my personal favourite - the Lobster Bisque ($7.50) and also introducing a new range of snow crab and prawn rolls. My only complaint? If only there was more lobster!

#throwback to our Xmas Dinner in advance a few days back. Highly recommended to chope in advance as the queues are insane. Great deal with @burpple 1-for-1 though the pasta portion was a tad small. Added the Calamari and Spicy Wings (which was amazing btw) for 2. Pizza is a definite must try for truffle lovers!

Ebiko Prawn Paste Shrimp Ramen ($13.90) & Ebiko Prawn Paste w Chili Vinaigrette Ramen ($11.90) - Can probably describe this as atas Hae Mee but not complaining about it 😂 The broth was super thick and rich, definitely a must-try for all prawn lovers! Added the tonkotsu broth for the dry ramen and it was amazing too. But heads up, don't be expecting a typical Japanese Ramen, this was definitely more Chinese influenced.
