DESSERT TIMEEE
Was browsing through @burpple to find what to have in Tiong bahru area and we found a jem, Leung Sang Hong Kong Pastries.
ā¢
They sell an assortment of pastries at $1.40 each and when you buy 10, you get 1 free! We bought their Leung Sang Egg Tart and Roasted Chicken Pastry.
ā¢
Jae prefers the "Hong Kong" style Egg Tarts where the crusts is buttery, flaky and crumbly and this is the exact description to Leung Sang's Egg Tart! Their egg curd is smooth and creamy too.
ā¢
The crust of their Roasted Chicken Pastry is similar to their Egg tart's but is wrapped around roasted chicken fillings (similar to char siew). They give generous servings of chicken that every bite consists of chunks of chicken!
ā¢
Yesterday while ordering, Jae made a mistake in her order and the auntie had to change aĀ box (for storing of pastries) which she apologised for causing the inconvenience. And to Jae's apology, the auntie's replied that customers are always right and that sometimes when she makes mistake, people refuse to accept her apology. It was rather upsetting to hear that and we feel like people often forgot that people like auntie (or others who serves us food or gives us service) are people with feelings too. If everyone are more courteous to each other, everyone would be a happier person.

This newly opened Muslim-owned spot is the place to visit for an unabashed sugar rush. Portions are generous and they certainly don't hold back with the sauces and toppings. Neighbours to Konditori Artisan European Bakery along Bussorah Street, Lickety specialises in Hong Kong style Egglet Waffles folded into a cone to house your ice cream (from $8.90). And what an amazing variety they offer, with flavours ranging from safe Green Tea and Chocolate to more interesting combinations like Coconut & Taro and Earl Grey Fig. You get to choose between the Red Velvet or Buttermilk for the fluffy waffles ā get the half-and-half if you can't decide!
Avg Price: $5 per person

Delicious cup of lava cake with vanilla ice cream at the bottom. Hot at the top, cold at the bottom. Simply sinful and delicious š
