Couldn't contain our excitement when we saw Piccoli Lotti, hidden in a corner next to Village Grocer in a fairly new mall in Melawati.
Best decision ever made when he suggested to have two scoops instead as we couldn't make up our mind which to get!
Chrysanthemum with Cacao Nibs and Earl Grey with Ginger were such a splendid end to our night.
Am glad that my favourite ice cream of the moment is just a few minutes drive away, instead of all the way in DU!

It was a glorious lunch, sinking our teeths into salmon and crispy salmon skin, in between two perfectly toasted Sourdough bread.
Polecats is truly, a hidden gem in Taman Melawati.
Glad I discovered this place and yes (!), I find myself going over to this cosy little café weekend after weekend!
Friendly people manning the place with good food and coffee too!

When I reached, I asked the guards for directions to Rage Coffee but they shook their hands and apologised. So I tried spelling rage... One of the guards lit up and asked excitingly if I meant 'ra-ge'. Such polite and adorable guards 😄

Cool place, with neon lights. Coffee was good! Iced Americano, up my alley. Isn't too sour and on first sip, I literally widened my eyes, took another sip and got started on the list of papers I'm suppose to review!
Had a booboo with their WiFi password. Ugh... They must be rolling their eyes internally when they heard how I spelled their password! 😂

Pink thosai with yellow stripes, say what? 🙃 Say no more!
We were there early morning, already the corner lot was filled with chatters from groups of families and friends, eagerly tearing their roti apart.
Thosai rawa was crispy and flavourful from the spices and vege bits.
Beetroot egg thosai, star of our meal indeed! Fluffy, crispy on the outside, not disastrously oily, all sorts of yummy! None of the earthy taste we initially worried about.
We left the place with happy bellies and spring in every step we took.
