Sipping on Thai Green Milk Tea ($2) and eating these addictive Coconut Crispy Pancakes (8 for $4) makes for a perfect Friday afternoon snack. Imagine eating candy floss in the form of crispy chips, because that's what those pancakes remind me of 😋
A different rendition of one of our pasar malam favourites, the freshly-made Tapioca Cakes (6 for $4) is a chewy round cake covered by a crisp thin skin. I could taste the tapioca bits inside and it's one of the less sweet Thai snacks around. Something you could munch on while queuing for your Pad Thai/papaya salad :P
The Phad Thai ($5) had a snaking long queue, but that's because it's cooked on the spot! Steaming hot and full of wok hei goodness 👍👍👍 The chilli flakes pack a tongue-numbing fiery punch!
Tip: Remember to take a piece of lime (self-service) if you like more tanginess in your noodles :)
