^^ Suzuki is a fish so popular with anglers all over the world that a lot of people forget it is also an extremely popular for sashimi and sushi in Japan.Japanese seabass have shiny white flesh with an easily recognizable, broad-flaked structure and a mild flavor. ^^

** Takenoko (Bamboo Shoot) **
^^Takenoko bamboo shoots are in season at the moment. Many will go foraging in the mountains to harvest these.Bamboo shoots also have been long savored and one of the typical foods in summer. In Japanese, bamboo shoots are called “Takenoko.” “Take” means bamboo and “ko” means a child. Literally, “Takenoko” means a child of bamboo! ^^
