Comfort Foods 😌⛅️

Can't get over the enchanting picturesque Taiwanese interior of this restaurant. After this delightful meal, I felt that I could put my thoughts away and go to bed 💆‍♀️✨The flavour of the soup was mild and there was no overpowering herbal taste. I’ll love to come back for another soupy meal.

So silky and smooth! The almond wasn’t too strong, and the combination of sesame and almond worked wonderfully together such that none of the components were too gelat. This is perfect for the gloomy cold weather!! 😌

Crispy and tasty ❤️ The yong tao hu was the perfect accompaniment to this dish, especially when I was down with a slight cold.

No strong greasy smells just pure blisssss and comfort in this meal ahhhh 💖😭❤️

I’m in looove. Pink, extremely tender beef slices, and ahhh mouth watering zhup of the perfect consistency not too thick or thin!!!

This la la bee hoon is for the win!!! It's the most memorable dish I had there. This is a winning dish for all zhup lovers 😋💦 It'll be good to share this among ~3 people.

The sauce for this dry noodle option weren't as thick and zhup-ish as I'd like them to be. But I was surprised at how the light and slippery texture of the noodles had me really going non stop, till the end of the meal. And these sour pickles!! Ah I love them!!

There's a sweet, savoury fragrance to their broth. Get some of their chilli in there for a hot peppery experience that lifts the back of your palette on each sip of broth.

Steamed fish and rice porridge wouldn't have been my choice for food at this food centre and to have tasted the best meal I've ever had at this humble Teochew porridge stall after trying most other stalls is pretty unimaginable.. 😳👅 absolutely will try their steamed fish again! It wasn't fishy at all, even though I usually am very sensitive to fishy tastes. This table-full of food was just nice for a bunch of 5 ☺️

Such are the simple pleasures in life. ❤️Delectable meat balls, and surprisingly not oily! What I particularly like here is the minced meat crispies they top on their noodles. Perhaps, the next time I come here, I can try to ask for a bit more of these 😛

What I like most about most vietnamese cuisine is the abundance of garnish that comes with the dish! It was light on the palette, but if you'd like some punch go give their chilli a go. I'll be back!! 👍🏻
