🥢Hawker Fare
Thick-cut slices of batang fish (Spanish Mackerel) cooked in a light, clear and subtly sweet broth with bits of fried garlic.
(S$5)
It comes with standard five ingredients with meat-stuffed fillings. Their chili is awesome, should have ask for more to mixed into my noodles. The only complaint I’ve here is the soup is lukewarm, as I prefer my soup hot. Portion size is small.
(S$4)
• Soya Bean Milk (S$1.30)
An average good cup of soya bean milk.
• Beancurd (S$1.50)
Smooth and silky warm beancurd
This set comes with 1 meat and 3 sides. I’ve opt for Char Siew (meat) and the 3 sides (fixed) are masala cauliflower, molten egg and spiced chickpeas. The Char Siew is tender and flavourful but the portion is abit small as compared to the rice.

Umami flavored bowl of soup. However, was disappointed with the sliced fish as it has the “mud” taste.
(S$10)
There’re two kinds - sweet and savory. The sweet one with red bean fillings. The fillings in the savory one is same as “soon kueh”. The skin was translucent and chewy, nice. Personally preferred the sweet one.
(S$0.80 each)
An average breakfast set that consists of toasted bread, soft boiled eggs and a cup of kopi / teh. The toasted bread wasn’t that crispy, not really worth the 20mins wait.
(S$3)
Succulent juicy fresh prawns. The noodles was well mixed with the chili sauce although it gets abit too oily. Quite nice!
(S$8)
Crispy youtiao with lots of peanuts (S$4, medium).
Their innards are braised till tender, with no “porky” bad smell. Even their braised tau kwa are soft and not hard at the outer. Their “Kway” are thinly sliced and smooth. I personally love the soup of the “Kway” as it’s light flavored.
(2 pax - S$11.20)
This plate here does not stir-fried with a lot of sweet black sauce but do have a slight wok-hei flavor. It has a more distinct eggy flavor and came with lots of fresh crunchy bean sprouts.
(S$3)
Topped with fish flakes, braised meat and half braised egg. The fish flakes are quite dry but after mixing with the gravy, it complements well. There are no clumps of starch found in their gravy and is always of the right consistency. If you’re a fan of vinegar, do ask for more because their vinegar is quite flavorful and fragrant.
(S$5, also available in S$4 and S$6)
