A creamy delight that serves up all you'd expect of a vanilla soft serve topped with sauces that gives it its character. This dessert cafe serves up interesting desserts such as honeycomb that I didn't get the chance to try but if this ice cream is any indicator, it should be good!

A quaint cafe overlooking the buzzing hive of activity that is the Takashimaya department store, stocked with an array of pan-cooked waffle desserts and coffees to keep any connoisseur happy! I came specifically for the lobster roll (one of the few places in Singapore to get one) and I wasn't disappointed. There was an acceptable amount of mayonnaise dressing and lobster tail and claw meat to complement the buttery brioche roll. A pleasant entry to the world of lobster rolls. ($22++)

Saw this $45 cake on Fave and decided to give it a shot. The sponge cake on the inside wasn't as creamy as expected and the Ferrero was soft by the time I picked it up. A bit disappointing for the price and I might have preferred a cheaper one from Prima Deli, but it's hard to say for sure.

Used my Fave voucher to try out the gelato at this quaint little ice cream parlor nestled within several big brand food outlets. The waffles were a bit think and didn't have the bite that I was hoping for. The green tea ice cream however was strong enough for me to savour with every bite! I thought the ice cream was a little lacking (or maybe I just take too much ice cream with my waffle) but otherwise a decent place to come for a quick ice cream. It's much quieter than the nearby Starbucks too and provides a good place to chat in relative privacy, although the decor seems to be a little dull.

A decadent delight with every scoop! The combination of strawberry flavoured cream and strawberry Cheesecake ice cream in a jar full of crunchy bits makes this dessert for two worth every penny. At $9 for a small jar and $16 for a big one it's really quite worth it considering the chic atmosphere that you get in this restaurant/cafe.

Homemade waffles leaning towards the salty spectrum, coupled with sweet and salty vanilla ice cream and a dash of maple syrup. Admittedly the ice cream was slightly too sweet, even for me and it over-rode the taste of the waffle itself. A cool cafe nestled in the brand new Ci Yuan CC. Reasonable prices and a convenient location for residents nearby keep it packed.

At $7.80 ($7 for double scoop with $0.80 cone) it's targeting the premium end of the ice cream market and justifiably so! The full bodied, creamy texture of the ice cream tastes as good as any high end mass market brand of ice cream (e.g. Haagen Dazs) and they offer local flavours such as Durian. My favourite flavour is the salted caramel which stays true to its roots!

An unusual rendition of the traditional chocolate croissant. Each bite is a delight with the warm chocolate interior melting in my mouth, engulfed by the crunchy exterior puff pastry. A signature creation to munch on as you enjoy the ambiance at this café with a view.
