Before Burpple 😮

[Jan '16] I'm not sure if Atlas Coffeehouse still has this on their menu, but I do recall a lot of people being head over heels for this. It definitely looks amazing, but I can't say that I totally loved this. I don't really remember why though - it could've been challenging portion, the lack of ice-cream or its sickly sweetness. 😬

(Feb '14) This was taken at my first ever food tasting at Pies & Coffee when I was writing for my school's online publication, The Urbanwire. Unfortunately, this was a long time ago so I don't remember how it tasted. I do recall loving the neat presentation of this!

(Nov 2014) If you have not tried Sunday Folks before, I urge you to do so because they are one of the only places that live up to the hype. Their waffles are in such good shape and embody a nicely crisp texture. I had this with their Earl Grey Lavender softserve which was superbly fragrant and also potent in flavour. It's been ages since I went there. Perhaps this calls for a return visit soon? 😬

(Feb 2016) Ah yes, one of the items Curious Palette is famed for - their Berry Ricotta Hotcakes. I remember this thick, fresh, hot, fluffy hotcake having a subacid taste to it. The berries and the pumpkin seeds are welcome, though I do recall preferring a bigger scoop of their vanilla bean ice-cream. 🙆🏽‍♂️

(August 2015) I honestly am not sure if Old Hen still sells this, but I remember this had me swooning, especially that sweep of greek yoghurt. I'm also shocked to learn that this photo was completely rid of any filter or edit when I found it in my gallery.
