The results are usually varied, but we definitely enjoyed the food at @oldhencoffee.
As the sort of person who eats clotted cream by the spoonful, I'm now a convert to serving crispy golden waffles with Greek yogurt - jelak-ness, be gone! The Homemade Waffles ($12) here also come heaped with cinnamon-laced apple compote, as well as accents of crumble clusters and ground pistachios.

@whiskcafesg was blessedly cool and calm, and there we revived ourselves.
While the Salted Caramel Eclair ($7) wasn't quite as salty or caramel-y as I prefer, @all_thingsbrightnbeautiful found it perfectly light and to her tastes. They carry @1872clippertea ($5) and the ginger blend is quite a lovely brew.

Everything is made fresh in the morning, and they're well-sized like the other offerings at Clinton Street Baking Co. 🍪🍪 There are classic sweets including this moist Blueberry Crumb Muffin, but if you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary, the savoury Bacon Spinach & Cheese Muffin is a full breakfast in and of itself. #Burpple

The Sea Salt Caramel cake ($8) at @dalkommsg is certainly a treat for anyone craving sugar. A heart of vanilla chiffon is surrounded by layers of salty-sweet mousse, cream, and a solid layer of caramel. Providing crunch is a cookie base, and pecan nuts are studded all over.
Straight out of the fridge, it is almost like an ice cream cake, but if you like your mousse soft and a little gloopy (in the best possible way), leave the slice to melt a little.

It's always a magical (and very, very boozy) time.
Don't let the beer towers outside fool you, this is a place that knows their wine and their food - like this balsamic glazed beef short rib on mash, topped with julienned baby spinach and served with a @katnookestate Cabernet Sauvignon.
They also have cheese specials, like a whole wheel of baked Camembert with the works (Truffle honey! Nuts! Posh crackers!) for just $5.

Created by Frederic Deshayes, who was 2016's Pastry Chef of the Year at the World Gourmet Summit, it's closer to a Pot-Au-Feu, but with the peppery kick we know and love.
Made with choice bits of beef, pork and lamb, the meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender.
