Very affordable under $10 bowl of ramen. Taste wise it is average, not the most generous meat serving and also not the best noodle texture. (The black soup base wasn't that black also). However it is very worth it for the price offered. The soup is pretty good. As you can see in the picture it is decent enough for under $10 and I will come back again
The picture speaks for itself. 9 different types of assorted fresh sashimi, plated very nicely atop a layer of ice, seaweed and pickles (generous amount of roe too). Very thick slabs, portion was definitely worth the $108++. Not cheap but worth it! Service was fantastic as well, not to mention the cozy airplane-themed surroundings.
Price has increased to $9.50, but this is still a stall I would frequent. Generous slab of salmon (loved how they cooked it such that the skin is crisp). Pickles and miso soup to complement. Sweet sauce to counter the savoury taste, and definitely the star has got to be the mentaiko sauce which was served in generous amounts.
$25 for 2 with the Burpple Beyond set. It's not too bad a deal, the portion is a little small but there is a generous amount of meat. Tender enough, and makes for a perfect combination with the sauce and egg yolk.
The portion isn't super big, but the sashimi is really fresh and there is an assortment of ingredients. The price amounts to slightly over the $10 range with the Burpple Beyond set. Not the best deal but not too bad either. Furthermore, the service is extremely good, which makes for a pleasant dining experience.
One of their warm soba selections, this features ingredients like bonito flakes, mushrooms, seaweed, grated radish, vegetables. The picked plum was quite interesting. A very good meal, not too salty (in fact, they offer plain broth to those who find their noodles too salty). There's a huge variety of dishes, will be back for more.
Priced at $78.80++, this wasn't cheap but I would recommend. The sashimi was of good quality (not the best, but still worth paying for). Service was fantastic, the ambience was great too, had walls that partitioned tables for privacy. The dessert after the main course, which was mochi and ice cream, was mind-blowing. I would visit this place again for important events!
We were able to choose our soup base, and I chose the (spicy) kara-miso ramen which wasn't that spicy. The pork cheek was really good and melt-in-your-mouth. The noodles were springy and the broth was full of flavour (a little bit too salty in my opinion) but still, this is one of the better ramen places in SG
Beef slices with (a lot of) egg, onions, seaweed and edamame. I thought the edamame was slightly out of place here. The meat was tasty though. And the portion (of both rice and meat) is huge so it's quite worth the money!
Dry ramen is an interesting concept, and no it is not as dry as it seems - there is a layer of sauce underneath. Apparently diners are supposed to mix it for 20 seconds before eating. It did not disappoint indeed. The noodles were springy and the sauce added flavour, well-coated with the onsen egg. The minced meat was tasty and slightly spicy to add the kick. Not to mention that there is a load of spring onions but i'm not complaining. Very worth it with the 1-for-1 deal
Really very worth a visit.
The portions are quite large for the price point and stuffed with a lot of "liao". With a generous amount of spicy sweet sauce (can customise the spiciness level) and also the batter is crispy and not too starchy. Their chirashi don is also very nice and fresh and I would definitely be back to try the rest.
This is an ala-carte buffet that I would highly recommend as there's a huge huge variety of dishes. With sashimi, sushi, tempura, skewers, and so on. Discounts appear pretty often too and this place is even listed on Burpple Beyond. The quality of food is really good too, would DEFINITELY come back again.
