The famous churros stall @locolocosg (whose pandan and red velvet churros last year gained lots of fans) is back this year with salted egg yolk sauce (yes, 2016 is definitely the year of salted egg yolk!). Surprisingly, I enjoyed the new salted egg yolk flavour more compared to the pandan churros last year. I could taste more of the churros, fluffy with a tinge of sweetness at the end, without getting overwhelmed by the sauce. While I found the sauce to be a tad too salty, I was happy that they tried to make the sauce as close to the typical zicar's salted egg yolk sauce. Don't expect any chunk of salted egg yolk in your sauce though because honestly, $6 for a cup of churros at a bazaar is already a pretty good deal. They also keep pandan, red velvet and original flavours as well as churros + ice cream for those who still prefer sweet churros over the savoury ones. Definitely a good idea for your weekend!
