Value for money eats

Vongole Bianco ($12), an Italian classic pasta dish that's cooked with clams and white wine ! Reasonably priced items for almost all the items on the menu! What's best is that it's located in the Neighbourhood of Ang Mo Kio which is near us! We actually tried both of the items on the menu, one with just the clams and this one with the pasta. I would say the one with just the clams was better seasoned, flavourful compared to the one with the pasta which was lacklustre, even though the only difference was the pasta. However, I Don't think you can find a place with such decent food at a lower price !

Crisp fried crust with a fish that was moist inside, palatable even without any sauce on top , thought it would have been better if there was some sauce drizzled on it. The egg was pretty much on point with a gooey flow to go along with the pasta. Pasta wasn't very spicy. Price was very reasonable at $8.90 for a pasta dish. Overall a good addition to the existing menu !

At $7.90, you get to enjoy a big piece of charcoal battered fried Fillet with a choice of two sides ! Crisp crunchy texture with a salted egg yolk sauce on the side and not lathered onto the fillet to retain the crunchy texture. Hmm, considering that we like to take a shot of our food first, this seems very thoughtful haha! Well seasoned straight cut fries that wasnt too salty and a side of fresh salad that got me coughing because I didn't expect it to be a little spicy ! Sad to hear that today is also the last day of their operation. Hope I get to eat something like this in future.

Located within the NTUC Foodfare foodcourt in Clementi Mall, Ramen Taisho is the place to go to when you're on a tight budget and ramen cravings strike. It is unlike any run-of-the-mill ramen stalls usually present in foodcourts. For one, the thin, stringy noodles are made fresh daily and the flavourful broth is prepared in-house by slowly simmering pork bones. The famed Tonkotsu Ramen ($6.90) comes topped with two pieces of chashu, a molten egg and spring onion — a popular amongst budget-conscious students. If you have two bucks to spare, get the Ramen Deluxe ($8.90) instead and be rewarded with five pieces of chashu!

Located on the third floor of Fortune Centre, this shop selling tasty and affordable Japanese dishes is a popular lunch stop for many working or studying in the area. The Pork Katsu Curry Rice ($7), one of the five varieties of curry available, is a reliable option. The golden, fried cutlet is placed on a heap of rice with brown curry sauce alongside, so you can choose to smother or dip. Another popular choice is the Salmon Mentai Don ($10) — thick-cut slices of salmon flame-torched for that hint of smokiness, topped with a generous dollop of mentaiko mayo. The portion runs small, so you might want to share a side of the super crispy, addictive Salmon Kama Karaage ($6) which utilizes parts of the fish such as the head and the fin, with your lunch companion!

Forever crowded Peachy secret hideout that is an ideal location for dinner/gathering as well as avoiding burning a hole in your pocket! Yes, there's something that's best of both worlds! recommended food to try here is the cheesy chicken cutlet and cheesy fish and chips! Generous portions and nothing here costs more than 10!
We tried the new chili crab sauce pasta with seafood ($8.9) filled with prawns and slices of fillet fish, tossed in chili crab sauce. Wasn't quite what I was expecting since my tolerance for spicy food isn't high, I recommend not having it unless you're a spicy food lover.
the prawn aglio olio ($7) is really cheap too!
Food was just alright but it's really cheap and filling!
