Wasn't expecting much from a lacklustre first try a few months back. When it came though this time, perhaps because we got some different dishes, or because they really have improved, they were much better.
About $10 per pax and you get a good variety that is filling. No wonder the queue on weekend meal times. Get: The pandan chicken, Tom Yum seafood soup (thick base - it's not that thick, just not clear because clear is much spicier).
Thai Olive Fried Rice with pork ($10.90). Pity the pork pieces were slightly dry and nary to be seen. Green curry fared slightly better.
Conducive for a catch up though as wheelock is so serene.
Bun Bowl with pork skewers - light on the palate and becomes a sweet bowl after adding the dressing, which didn't go too well with me. So we're most of their mains which had a sweet tinge.(even the green curry). Great outdoor seating here though with the quaint decor in the middle of the CBD
All these food for 6. Mookata spread, and only about $8-$10 per pax, D: that is if you don't mind it's in a coffeeshop.
