Café Dinner

The salted yolk gravy was thick yet not too heavy on taste, so it wasn't jelat. Penne is the perfect pasta for this dish as it soaked up the gravy very well. One of my favorite dishes here. The portion is quite large for the price but I'm not complaining :)

They are running a promo on some of the nibble items and drinks. The Angus Beef Sliders were 2 for $6++. Love the crusty buttered buns and juicy, flavorful beef patties. The sliders were really tiny so that left me more bandwidth for the Sticky Date Toffee Pudding @ $14++. The "pudding" was moist and not overly sweet with bits of nuts within. Perfect with the vanilla beans ice cream and toffee sauce! Definitely be back for the other dishes.

Duck confit had very crispy skin and the meat inside was moist and flavorful. Appreciated the tangy honey mustard sauce which cut through the oiliness of the duck. Would be perfect if there were more greens on the plate. One of my favorite dinner item at Lola's.
