Were quite shocked at the priciness, thus picked a "cheaper" and safer option for first timers like us. The snow flakes was super fine and milky. Almonds added some crunch to the otherwise one dimensional dessert. Very shiok for the sweltering weather.
The cronut was warm and so flaky. Perfect with the combi of creamy sundae, fresh banana and chocolate sauce! Chased my Monday blues away :)
Pistachio taste was sufficient. The gelato was a tad too sweet but overall was smooth and creamy.
The chendol had a hint of saltiness which was quite unique and made the dessert not so jelak. The shaved ice was quite fine too. I heard they make their own chendol; no wonder it was so tender. Damn shiok for a sweltering afternoon.
New petite yoghurt with 3 toppings of salted caramel sauce, banana and cookie crumble. Perfect combi! It's only $1 difference from Moyen which is medium with 4 toppings so Moyen is more value for $$
Power Chendol at $2 nett. The gula melaka sauce was too gooey like malt candy, and its taste too intense although it would be very shiok for people who like such heavy taste. Not worth the 15-min queue. Will try their durian mango ice next time.
Moyen at $6.80 nett with coconut sauce, coffee daquoise, bananas and valrhona dark pearls :) Just love watching the staff adding the toppings meticulously, even when sometimes I ordered just a petite with 1 topping.
The Pulut Hitam cake is one of a kind which I have not found elsewhere. It was love at first taste. The coconut cream in between the sponge cakes was not overly sweet and heavy. The pulut hitam glaze was like a thicker version of the dessert and not overly sweet too. Easily one of my top 3 favorite cakes at Pine Garden's.
