[$4] Satisfying plate of roast chicken and roast pork! The chicken was Super flavourful! Wouldn't exactly say the same for the pork, but to be honest, there's no bad roast pork anyway, so this pairing was awesomeee. Soup was surprisingly good too! Perfect Sunday brunch. [8/10] #date3
[$5.60 for 2 cheese prata] Soooo I don't know about you, but $2.80 for 1 cheese Prata is considered expensive right? So funny how we're supposedly on a Budget but we can still afford 'luxury' Prata (more expensive than normal) š well, it was near my house, we were desperate, so. Taste wise, it wasn't the fantastic crispy Prata that I was hoping for, instead it was very dough-y. BF commented perhaps they didn't flip and fold the dough enough. And the dough was very sweet, it's almost like a dessert! Heard many good reviews though, even on ieatishootipost, so maybe this was a one time thing? Not impressed :( [6/10] #date2 #100daysof10dollardates
[$7.40 with drink] The noodles were really springy and well cooked! The Chilli paste was also really unique, I got a good taste of it since I requested for more Chilli. It gets overwhelming after awhile though because of the burnt taste, perhaps that's what's unique about it? But it's not an order-another-bowl kind of dish for me. Had to also add a few spoonfuls of the black vinegar on my own to add that little bit of oomph. The accompanying 'Liao' were good! I didn't really like the soup though.. For $5.50, I would give it an overall 6.5/10. Personally wouldn't come back again.
