It might sound absurd but using these D24 ($16.9/$22.9) and Mao Shan Wang Durian ($21.9/$27.9) on Tino's hand tossed Italian pizza base worked for me. Generous amount of durian flesh are extracted from the fruit and mixed with cheese, before being baked to a creamy molten filling that is best enjoyed freshly out of the oven. I preferred the Mao Shan Wang due to its stronger taste with slight bitter notes!
It will be available on Tino's menu from this Saturday, 1st April across all 3 outlets at Tiong Bahru, The CentrePoint and Resort World Sentosa.
With Jayne and Veronica putting their brains together, The Oscars was created. A white base pizza with feta cheese, mozzarella, chipotle chicken, onions, white truffle oil, sea salt and 1 black olive. This will be made available at Alt Pizza for next 2 weeks so be sure to head down soon if you wanna try it!
"Most Instagram Worthy" pizza indeed! You can DIY your own pizza at @altpizza, name it and upload it on Instagram. Stand to win cool weekly prizes or the grand prize (pizza party for 10)!
Ours tonight was "Swipe Right" with organic tomato base, mozzarella, parmesan, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, kale and roasted squash drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Absolutely in love with the charred edges of the kale pairing with the prosciutto!
A more pocket friendly restaurant by Celebrity Chef Mario Batali, Mozza, located at the upscale Marina Bay Sands provides a casual ambience suitable for your gathering with friends and family! Amongst the pizza that we ordered, the Funghi Misti was a hit for me with the 4 different types of mushrooms used in it. The creamy cheese (fontina and taleggio) and thyme worked together effortlessly to bring this pizza to life. Definitely one of the best pizzas I've ever had!
You will definitely be spoilt for choice at PasarBella with the myriad of food enticing you. If you would like to have some good old American pizza, you can now pick up a slice (16") or whole (12") from Rocky's Pizza! What sets them apart is the generosity of cheese they load onto their pizza - creamy without being too chewy.
4 fixed flavors are available here - Kim-ky, Chor-lita, Cola-Doodle-Do & Pig-na Colada. I definitely enjoyed the Kim-ky which had kimchi, mozzarella cheese & luncheon meat as the sour spicy flavor worked for me!
Choose from the red, white or oriental base then proceed to be greedy! Ours had lots of cheese, mushrooms, kimchi, onions & meat (chicken breast, bacon, chorizo & sio bak). We chose the spicy drizzle to top it off which I thought gave a nice kick to the pizza without destroying the taste!
