The curry with rice (hkd67) was really good! Thick flavourful gravy and tender beef briskets. Like a really well done rendang - couldn't stop. Loved the texture of tossed noodles in this King Prawns in XO Sauce (hkd56) but tasted slightly alkaline. XO sauce was quite shiok.

The sides were crispy while the bun was soft, and so guilty but I finished every bit of the condensed milk!! The bun (hkd19) was damn shiok, accompanied by their milk tea (hkd20), smooth and well-balanced without being overly bitter.

Processed food tastes better in HK idky. Eggs were fluffy and tasty, but Australian Dairy Co. is better imo. Milk tea in HK is always done right. Macaroni tasted like diluted Campbell soup though. Hkd32 and 35 for each set.

220hkd gone like that for 7 pieces of happiness 😋 the most intriguing being foie gras. Got the earl grey, rose, olive oil & lemon, passion fruit & orange with cream cheese, salted caramel.

50 hkd with a drink - Hong Kong is probably the only place where they can take something as simple as this, turn it into a plate of delicious noodles, and you wouldn't even feel bad about ordering instant noodles. I don't even like scallion(?) but this was so tasty! And the chicken chop was on point: Crispy, juicy, tender. #burpple

Here's s French toast done right! Fluffy, sinfully buttery and laden with honey, and a thin layer of what seems to be Kaya between the toast for additional fragrance. Happened to notice this store on our quest to ride the world's longest outdoor covered escalator (🙄) so we hopped off, got a whole bunch of other stuff in the tiny elbow-to-elbow cha chaan teng and this French toast to go. My tummy is blessed.

Pretty great Starbucks concept store, recreated to look like a typical Bing Sutt. Didn't try but there are also food items like coffee egg tart, rustic bun w butter that cannot be found in the other Starbucks stores! Standard drinks. Drop by for a cuppa if you're around Central.

Final hour for one last roast meat 😟 not a famous restaurant but pretty good siewyoke & roasted goose for only sgd15!!

Happiness when we chanced upon this dessert shop while taking a different route back! 55hkd for this waffle cup with 3 flavours of soft serve - Hokkaido milk, Uji Matcha and Hojicha that were smooth and creamy but melted really fast even in the cold. Loved how both Hojicha and matcha flavours were pretty intense and well-balanced. Served with chestnut, shiratama and azuki in a waffle cup that remained crispy for a long time.

Honestly was skeptical about all the hype - I can't cook for nuts but anyway, how good can a scrambled egg be?!! But I think I get it. Simple fare but absolutely delish. Fluffy, flavourful, and goes damn well with the buttered toast that was slightly crisp. Ended up ordering another egg sandwich. Set came with cold/hot milk for 32hkd. Also, we were here for supper : no queue no rush no impatient waiters, double the happiness!!😋

The Mob (55hkd) - Black sesame mochi eggettes, milk gelato and homemade matcha ice cream, with Apple yuzu jelly, citrus crunchy flakes drizzled with rich matcha sauce. Gelato was very creamy but that's about it. I am not a fan of their famous street snack but this I enjoyed thoroughly - crispy, light and chewy.

Wasn't sure about the hype of Tai Cheong bakery egg tarts but now I can't wait for it to arrive in Singapore! 8hkd (about $1.50) for this. Smooth and eggy with fragrant and light buttery puff pastry.
