I redeemed a 1-for-1 coffee deal here thanks to Shopback GO. Pick anything off their extensive coffee menu - I chose a Latte ($5.00). This deal is valid for regular-sized drinks, which is the smallest size, but enough to keep me satisfied.

Even without 1-for-1, I'd pay full price for their coffee as I've done all these years. By paying with my Shopback GO linked credit card, I can clock loyalty rewards here each time.. Upon an accumulated spend of $30 (til 30 Jun), I can redeem a free coffee/tea. Can't wait 😂

What I liked best, though, was the Cafe Latte ($5.00 nett). It was creamy & smooth. Started my day off on a good note. I'd head back here again just for this when I next drop my sister off at work!

Or maybe I'll try the $5.90 breakfast sets: Butter Croissant, Chocolate Danish, Jalapeño Cheese Brezel... Which one sounds good?

I'm glad I stopped by The M Plot after surfing Shopback GO for boosted cashback deals. They were running a 35% cashback (capped at $12) campaign & I caught it on the last day.

Started off my meal with a Flat White ($5.00 nett), which was served pretty quickly. It was fragrant with slight acidity to it. Not the best I've had, but I would order it again.

When F&B outlets reopen to allow dining in again in May, I would love to return here for sure. For now (the month of April), take note that they ARE still open for take-outs. You are encouraged to bring your own clean containers & reusable cups when you stop by - you get 10% if you do!

Ordered a Flat White ($5.50 nett small, $6.50 nett large) to go with my brunch; got the large one at a promotional price of $6.00 nett.

Pleasantly surprised at how easy this is to drink, yet has that oomph of a double shot of coffee to kick you awake. Would return here again for the coffee, to just spend time chillin' here.

I will be back to Boyle’s Coffee & Love Bites next time to chill a little longer! I can forsee this as a comfortable place to relax your weekend away, or be productive while doing work.

Being located in town, it is pretty central as well. It's actually on the SMU campus - you lucky bastards. Maybe I should go back to school & get another degree 😂

Was here in between appointments - have never been. Enjoyed my flat white double shot ($5.50 nett) as much as the ambience here - kind of wished I could stay longer.

The coffee was good & smooth. The beans weren't too acidic, & the amount & quality of milk wasn't too creamy. Just right for me.

Yesterday was International Coffee Day - I found this out only when the day was almost over! But perhaps it's this special day that gave me the good luck I needed to uncover a great coffee stall in a hawker centre.

My dad regularly orders coffee from Hylam Street Old Coffee 海南街老咖啡, after a friend introduced it to him & he got hooked. He then did the same to me, & now I'm hooked too.

We're always here during off-peak hour (past 2pm on a weekday), so the queue is minimal if even there at all. During crowded times, the queues can get pretty snaking long, I've heard!

This is clearly for good reason. The amazing fragrance of roasted beans, superb taste, & affordability. When I walked forward to place my order, I could smell the beans immediately. That made me change my order of tea to a coffee before I blurted it out to the uncle.

In terms of taste, I really can't ask for more. It has the socksy kopitiam taste that you want in a cup of hawker centre coffee. It'll definitely give you that kick awake that you need in the morning/mid-day.

& the price? $2 total for this kopi & kopi C kosong. Who needs volume when you've got quality; want more, just buy 2 cups lor. Still cheaper than Starbucks.

Haven't been to Old Hen in a hot minute - glad to know that their cold brew is still delicious & refreshing in the sweltering heat. Depending on my mood for the day, I'll choose either the Smooth Black ($6.00 nett) or Creamy White ($6.50 nett) Cold Brew. I was feeling the white that day; it went down so smooth, it made me happy.

Ps: That's the Specialty Coffee - White (Hot, $4.50 nett) in the foreground. I didn't try it, but I might the next time ☺

I enjoy a solid cup of coffee - by that, I mean very strong flavours, sometimes without milk, but most of the time with. Having said that, I'm not a coffee connoisseur, so I will refrain from trying to describe coffee using words that aren't in my dictionary.

I can, however, describe the Gibraltar ($4.50) we ordered - it has less milk than your regular latte, which is totally up my alley. I did enjoy my cuppa here as much as I did the friendly service. Keep it up guys! They have a few drip coffee options as well which I am keen to try next time.

Also worthy to note: You have to place your order at the cashier before you get seated. Lessens the chances of people fighting over a choped table, I suppose = 👍

The Latte ($4.50) was sufficiently creamy, yet had the super shiok kick of robust coffee inside. If aesthetics are your thing, you can see the difference in the latte art of the Soy Milk (+$0.50) Latte.. Probably because Soy Milk behaves in a different way, but it didn't really bother me.
