From An Ji Xiang Hua Ice Jelly at Chinatown Complex Market. One of the stalls that I would end up getting iced desserts especially in the hot weather if I were to be at this market. This was a refreshing treat with the smooth ice jelly atop shaved ice that's been drizzled with lime juice for a refreshing flavour — definitely a good dessert for the insane heat these days!

PS: I also quite liked how the uncle is quite particular about presentation — it's rare for someone this age to be so meticulous about how things are plated especially at a hawker stall.

Its the real deal. Nuff said. This soft serve never fails to comfort.

Very tasty with generous filling of salted egg yolk. $6:50++ for this. Pastry was also fluffy and done nicely.

Crispy exterior yet maintaining an extremely light and fluffy interior of chewy goodness! Crunchy cornflakes added to the exterior texture, and with lip-smacking melting ice cream, what more can you ask for? Would gobble this up in a heartbeat. ❤️ You would have to wait 20+ mins for preparation, but trust me - it's so worth it! Great for sharing with friends over a hot cuppa too :-)

This is an overhyped korean dessert with more and more shops opening. Tbh it tastes like the normal snow ice desserts which existed in sg before this. But the ice shaved is much finer. Priced close to $20. I doubt i'd be going back anytime soon :x

An upside down ice cream served with caramelized bananas and drizzled with chocolate sauce n brownie crumbs. It tasted alright but certainly not worth 10 bucks. I'd rather the french toast.

Very nice waffles. Affordably priced too. The gula melaka soft serve and earl grey soft serve were a hit!

The french toast (top) was recommend by their waitress and it was really good. The french toast is oozing with honey and melts in ur mouth. Served with a side of vanilla ice cream which went perfectly with it. The bottom was the lola's chocolate cake which taste ok. Dark chocolate so not too sweet. However the sponge cake wasnt that fantastic as it had quite a grainy texture.
