Singapore Local Eats

You can't put a single category to Singaporean food. Just as it reflects the multiculturalism of its society, the local food is a mishmash fusion of food from different cultures and regions. Keep an open mind when trying all the dishes to get the best out of your experience in Singapore.

Supper type of meal but good for simple and light dinner. Always love the array of dish choices to go with the simple plain porridge

Crusty pastry, very sour yellow Lemon cream, eaten together with the sweet cream, just right.

The bowl of rice was surprisingly small. Beef was ok, pepper sauce underneath was good. what was interesting was the ginger foam which gave this don an interesting flavour

Crispy fried Mantou. Interesting take on the simple lap cheong egg dish

Amazing taste, light and not fishy. Cooked perfectly. Not for those who do not like to debone fish though. But if you are a fish love and don't mind getting into the dish, this is for you

Apparently this is famous but I feel it is so so, not as nice as Ding tai Ding's fried rice and a little dry.

One of the standard vege dishes in restaurants. Not fantastic but not too bad either.

Despite the clinical look of the place and immaculate looking dishes, the food is flavorful and tastes amazing. Highly recommend their rava masala dosa. Rava (semolina flour) is much tastier than using the original rice and black gram flour. Guaranteed for the extra crisp and nutty flavour.

The Thai food served here is really worth the money. Tucked in an old condo estate, the place is cosy for family dinners. Their Tom yam and other dishes are really yummy and spicy too!

A hearty breakfast or brunch fills you up the whole day
