Two scoops is served in a wafer bowl and you can choose two toppings. I got hazelnut and chocolate topped with popping candy and chocolate shavings. Take a little hazelnut ice cream and a little chocolate ice cream, put it on the wafer and let it dance in your mouth. ☺️
I think this was called La Noteria or something. All these Italian names that just glides off my brain 😂 It was absolutely delicious! Handmade pizza crust topped with sausage, bacon and garlic oil. Then baked in a wood oven and topped with rocket. Was amazing!! The ribeye was also pretty good at its price. Gives you the last taste of London as you wait for your flight!
One of their hot favorite dessert. I was half expecting one bar of shortbread and a round scoop of ice cream. But of course this place is more fancy than that. The peanut butter shortbread is awesome! Heated up so that it is soft inside and crunchy on the exterior. Within the Centre of the shortbread, there is also a surprise caramel centre. The ice cream made a nice complement to the warm shortbread, but felt that it was a little wasted that they put salted caramel ice cream because the peanut butter shortbread actually overpowered the salted caramel. Any normal ice cream would have sufficed!
Weather was nice for Al Fresco dining and I ordered this very humble looking pasta that is hidden with huge flavours. I wasn't feeling too hungry for lunch and decided to order penne but this definitely brought my appetite back. Shredded zucchini sauted with chilli to give you that slight kick and fried spinach balls encrusted with garlic. This will make any meat eater love vegetables!! The mushroom soup here is also a must order. Unlike the normal cream mushroom soup, this is a medley of mushrooms with a secret ingredient. Bacon is added to add flavour and makes the soup very rich! Mm mm
Tonight's dinner situation.Dinner for our last night in London. The rib eye steak with bone marrow sauce is just mind blowing. The steak is thick and cooked till perfection! Perfectly medium rare on the inside and slight charred on the exterior. And the creamed spinach and beef dripping fries were amazing sides. I can officially say that I had the best of what London has to offer. ☺️☺️ Thanks for the amazing dinner @timchee 😘😘 #burpple Steak is cheap everywhere else in the world except Singapore. Can you believe all these for only 80pounds(S$180) ?
Finally having my first lobster roll because the queue at Pince & Pints is too long for me.One whole lobster in a perfectly buttered bun.. This is the real deal 😋😋 Eating this with my kopitiam looking drink. Lol #burpple
Decided to have a muffin and some earl grey for breakfast. The muffins here are dense. Like those dense pound cakes that melt in your mouth? Mmmm. And the earl grey is fresh tea leaves with dried bergamot. Just the real stuff over here..
Some bratwurst for octoberfest! But it's a pity they ran out of soft pretzel and served it on baguette instead. That would have made a big difference to the experience. Would have preferred it on soft pretzel. I ordered the mustard sauce which is a bit and sweet and tangy and don't remind me of mustard at all lol. Ordered a fruli to go along with it. One of their beers on tap is this strawberry infused beer. It literally tasted like a cocktail! Yum. A nice place to hang out and chill with local beers and bar food!
All these mussels for only 10 pounds! We got the Mariniere which is their traditional, where the mussels are cooked in garlic, celery and white wine. Except it has a splash of cream as well. Tasty mussels but I wouldn't say it's super fresh. Not too bad for 10 pounds though!
Super fresh lobster! And the noodles absorbs the essence from the lobster, ginger and onions is added to make it more fragrant. The noodles is well cooked and not soggy. This is a fav among locals and chinese!
The large beef pho contains beef brisket, beef flank, beef meat balls, beef tripe and vermicelli noodles. The soup is light and not overly salty. Such a heartwarming meal on a cold day!
Almost like Chee cheong fun, but stickier and eaten with a savory sauce with a slight fish sauce taste. Pork and shiitake is wrapped inside. A very good starter to refresh the palette!
