Cafés In Bukit Timah
We ordered a very common dish but what was special was the scrambled eggs! Can u spot it? Also, it's a pretty conducive place for studying with free fire and wall plugs!
($11) I wouldn't call it the best bingsu but it's quite good! They're generous with the toppings and of course the ice. What's best is that it's just a stone's throw away from school!
Love their desserts! The snickers bar has a crunchy base which makes it addictive and the cheesecake was cheesy enough but not overly cheesy! Prices were towards the pricey side though..
We decided to pop by this cafe after having desserts and they have really good bread and croissant! Also, I didn't know they were having an IG competition and guess what? I was the lucky winner walking away with a $50 dining voucher which means yay I can dine there again soon!
I started purchasing macaroons from this shop way before they came up with such adorable characters and I must say I really love them! Although it's considered quite pricey ($3-$4.50 for one) but they will make you fall in love with macaroons. Can you even bear to eat them?
Other than side dishes and desserts, they serve pretty good brunch too! Aren't you tempted already?
Here's a closer and clearer shot of the shibuya-inspired thick toast!
Cravings were well-satisfied here! The Assembly's brick toast ($12) is definitely one of the best thick toasts I've ever tried! A layer of sugar coating topped with vanilla ice-cream and greek yogurt on the side. Definitely be back for more!
Honey wings ($9); Truffle fries ($9); Vanilla ice-cream ($3/scoop). It's really a nice place to chill especially since it's so near to Ngee Ann Poly! The truffle fries was not bad and they actually added a lot more parmesan for us when we asked for more. The wings are more of a sweet and sour taste, unlike Lola's, and for that I think it's quite unique. Oh and I super duper love their vanilla ice-cream😍 You can spot the vanilla beans and it just tastes SO GOOD😋
