A simple idea: order udon and get fried stuff from counter. It's like a cafeteria, but the dashi is actually pretty good and punchy.

Two different kinds of umami - one mixed with sweetness, the other tangy and sharp - melt together over a juicy scallop.

Always a warming, perky, joyful companion.
