This is the most amazing Tom yam pizza I've ever tried and I would have happily ordered another if my stomach allowed me!! It's really crisp some what like chips with distinct Tom yam smell AND taste topped with succulent fresh prawns + heaps of cheese!!! I will definitely head back when I revisit bkk! 190 baht (excluding 10% service charge and 7% VAT)
Coconut ice cream stalls are on every street and corner of chatuchak weekend market. Some stores are like "franchises", same cart, same signboard, same ice cream and toppings. Having tried most of the different stores, i felt this particular one (that has a Facebook page) is the best. Although slightly more expensive at 40baht (the average coconut ice cream is at 30 baht). This particular coconut ice cream is rich yet light and smooth like gelato. Unlike the rest of the ice cream which was creamier and partially melted due to the sweltering heat in Bangkok.
T&K seafood aka the green shirts is known to be more popular than R&L seafood aka red shirts just across them. The Tom yam goong is fantastic with generous servings of squid, mushroom and fish slices (150 baht). The steamed snapper in spicy garlic and lime soup is really tender and juicy (300 baht). River prawns were fresh and succulent (200 baht). One of my favorite seafood- cockles were done well too! They were not too raw or bloody (60 baht). We also ordered the morning glory (50 baht) and crabmeat fried rice (100 baht) that did not disappoint. Would definitely return again because of the cheap price for the good quality of food. Remember to get there by 6pm for air conditioned seats! 😁👌🏼 do note they are only open for dinner from 5pm to late! & save some stomach space for the amazing street food just around T&K!!
Why flying? Cause it flies away from the dish to people's mouths (haha). This is my absolutely fav place to have fried fish. Not just any fried fish but this - fried snapper marinated with sweet fish sauce 420 baht. Their Thai iced tea 45 baht is great as well! 😋
Went to check out the new mall in Bangkok - emquartier and they had Roast cafe, which I last tried in thonglor. They have revamped the menu with much more variety to choose from. Since we already had lunch we decided to try their fluffy pancakes with walnuts, bananas and homemade peanut butter ice cream. Delicious butterscotch sauce was drizzled over the pancakes w an extra serving by the side if you have a sweeter tooth. The sweetness was just perfect for me 👌🏼😘 320 baht and their latte 100 baht was served with master crafted latte art. There's also something special about their palm sugar, couldn't resist adding a spoon although I hardly add sugar in my latte.
