Surrey Hills Grocer delivered what they promised - the freshest and finest of Australia. That thick slab of perfectly grilled cod fish shouts nothing but fresh sweetness. Slammed in between the tangy sauce and buttery brioche buns, the burger is not completed without the cute crispy tatertots on the side.

Served at medium doneness, the ribeye steak was perfectly tender. Paired with one of the steaks' best friend, the chimichurri sauce did its job in elevating the flavours of the savoury meat.

Chunky and crispy fish served with thick cut fries, old school style coleslaw and baked beans. 😋 Priced only at $8, Wow Wow West at ABC Brickworks is one of go-to places for the best Fish & Chips at a hawker food center.

Ready to get your hands dirty? 🤗 Dripping juice from the thick beef patties, buns soaked with sauces and mushroom gravy from toppings, generous portion of fresh veggies trying to escape from my grip. Yes, the flavour-packed burgers from Five Guys are satisfying but they are quite a "handful". 😘

With 50% off total bill using Burpple Beyond, it is no doubt a sweet deal... if the food is worth every cent you are paying for. Sadly, this 500g Porterhouse T-bone Steak (OP: $49.90) was dry, overcooked and lacklustre. Don't get me started on that dubious truffle fries. 😅

- What you will get to see: an unsure staff (unconvincing qualified chef) abusing the steaks at the open concept kitchen; uncut beef packed in vacuum bags and white plastic bags in the display chiller fridge visible to everyone who comes in. I thought they could display the different cuts and label them nicely with some lighting for meat lovers like us to see.

Well, the only saving grace was the savoury brown gravy which I'm not certain if it was housemade. Anyway, we went for round 2 of food and Astons was right next door too! 😄

Yes I love the fancy Korean fried chicken, the addictive msg-enhanced KFC and my ever-crunchy Popeyes. But it's always a walk down the memory lane whenever I get to enjoy the simple traditional fried chicken from Arnold's Fried Chicken. 😋 So filled with childhood memories. ☺️

Baked Chicken Leg ($13.90) served with mashed potatoes and healthy greens makes a well-balanced lunch. 😀

We were so hungry after doing CNY shopping. Lobsters & Ice Cream (@lobstersandicecream) came up when I searched on #Burpple for a place to eat around Chinatown. Thanks to #BurppleBeyond, I got two Seafood Rolls for the price of one - $23. What a steal! 😊

The Butcher's Grill ($88.80) feeds 2 hungry girls or just a famished caveman. The combo is served with a grass-fed sirloin, wagyu rump steak, tenderloin steak, two gourmet sausages and two sides of your choice. If you are into herbs and spices, go for the Apple, Sage and Rosemary Pork Sausage. Go for Mala Pickled Greens if you are thinking of having something funky and kicks you at the back of your throat! 😄

A hearty Herb-Roasted Chicken Sandwich ($16) from Dean & Deluca (@deandelucasg) to start my weekend. And fries for breakfast? Yes please! 😁

KFC is serving more than just fried chicken. Here comes the Signature Grilled Chicken Meal ($8.95) which comes with a massive chicken leg, two sides and a soft drink. Expect a robust taste of herbs and spices from this well-marinated chicken leg! 😋
