Had a cold cup of Thai Milk Tea Extra Gold at Nam's on a cold day. The queue was outrageously long so I had my lunch before coming back here, when the queue had vanished.
The hype here is truly justified, having tasted many Thai Milk teas, this ome at Nam's stands out proudly for boasting a robust tea flavour, complemented with the rich taste of milk. So smooth and sultry. A good end to my lunch.
Joining the popular Tiong Bahru estate is Cream & Custard, a cafe which serves coffee and a small selection of tarts, cakes and pastries. Gloriously spacious with a minimalist white aesthetic, Cream & Custard is a great spot if you are looking for sweet treats in that area. Go for the indulgent Triple Chocolate Devil ($6.80) or the well-balanced Passionfruit Meringue Tart ($5.60).
