Two of my favorite things in the world, pork and potato gratin. Pork Loin was really well done, fragrant, tender meat and fats that just melt in your mouth as you chew, probably one of the better pork dishes I've tried in a long time. However, potato gratin was slightly dry to my liking. I personally like my potato gratin creamier and slightly more cheesy and as for the vegetables on the side, perfectly cooked but in my humble opinion, I would have went with glazed French beans and carrots instead of zucchini. Nevertheless, a brilliant dish well executed!!
After reading mixed reviews about the Panna Cotta, the burpple tastemakers thought we would give it a shot. In my humble opinion, not only did I thought some of reviews were wrong, the panna cotta was best amongst all the desserts we had. I could already tell that the panna cotta was smooth and creamy when I digged in for my first bite because my spoon just slides through the dessert like a hot knife on butter. The sourness of the local passion fruit not only compliments the smooth creamy sweetness of the panna cotta, it also gives it a nice refreshing kick and it makes you want to take another bite after each one!!
