Recap of last weekend's eat-up with the Burpple team over @ Gin Khao Bistro (QuaySide Isle, Sentosa Cove).
Pla Muek Yang - This platter of flame-grilled squid was one of my favorite item on the tasting menu. Imo, it's definitely good for sharing as appetizers for (2-3 paxs). If you are not a big fan of squid, there are many amazing appetizers on the menu to indulge on, which I will be sharing on the next post.
Para Thai bring flavors of Thailand right smack into your tastebud without having to travel across the country. With a comprehensive menu of 80 true-blue authentic thai dishes ranging from appetizers to desserts. Every item definitely worth every dollar spent!
Perfect dessert for hot weather, unfortunately the ice machine was down on the day we visited. So the shave ice that was served wasn't perfect but other than that. It's all good!
This isn't the perfect one in town but a good companion as dessert @ Para Thai. Reason why, as coconut was alittle diluted. It will so much better if it's thicker and well-seasoned mangos alongside!
Roasted duck with red curry, amazing dish! And also one of the rarest item in town, you don't see it elsewhere but here! It's not as spicy as you think but it's really sweet and fragrant. For those who has a thing for curry, be sure to try this!
Kin tub is known as one of the most affordable thai bbq steamboat place in town. They serve their platters in ala-carte and definitely a generous portion to pay for. One meat platter goes about $49.90++! Worth a try š
Officially missing you, never will I enjoy a piping hot soup this much till I met this! Chicken coconut soup which brings a strong sour & spicy taste. It's kinda addictive actually š
