My Love For || Waffles💋
• Charcoal Waffles
• Pistachio Ice Cream
• Salted Egg Yolk Sauce
The aftertaste of these three combinations leads me closer to heaven. Why? Charcoal waffles were super fragrant and mixing along with their pistachio was perfect to begin with! And there goes the killer of its game for dipping these with salted egg yolk that comes with a happy ending.
Buttermilk Chicken & Waffles! It's my first and won't be the last. I literally fell in love with this and it feels like love at the first sight!
It goes totally well with the bourbon maple syrup to balance out the sweet and salty taste! 😄

Just the usual waffles, nothing impressive. But for a cozy corner, they're right!
A few stacks of waffle comes along with a scoop of honeycomb ice cream and topped up with a few selection of fillings (Nutella, Peanut Butter & Berries Jam) as side dips.
This was pretty a overwhelming experience with the combination of the side dips that was provided and the scope of ice cream with the spongy and airy waffles. This is such a gem, and definitely coming back for this!

Always craving for good savory waffles; so here's mine that I've hunt last week!
Buttermilk Waffles with Butter Rum Bananas, one of the most savory waffles you should consider having!
Lately every cafe had been serving waffles that I hesitated ordering this, but this is honestly quite the waffle that I had been looking for for a long while. Crispy consistency on the outside, moist in the interior and the wafting scent and taste of Buttermilk so evident. Even the fresh fruits are more sweet than sour. So much oomph that I am convinced that I found the waffle I had long wanted to have.
Got to try out the pancakes at Little Wimbly Lu after hearing all about those served in their main outlet. The eggy batter was delicious with its crispness on the exterior and fluffiness inside; good enough to have with just maple syrup. No wonder it's clearly one of the favourite waffles that locals have been raving about!
Another one of the specialties from The Hideout at Pine Lane. Those who prefer their waffles fluffy and soft will like this; the moist waffle is pillowy and comes with a real light Buttermilk flavour which we thought could be stronger. Chocolate Hazelnut had some crispy bits and tasted similar to Ferrero Rocher.
The only variant served here are served with ice-cream here. Belgian Waffles are buttery and fragrant but kinda soft for our liking. Cookies & Cream ice-cream supplied from New Zealand Natural was enjoyable; lots of cookie bits to chew on, and finished with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a sprinkle of peanuts.
It's encouraging to see many young hawkers having the entrepreneurial spirit by opening hawker stalls that both replicates nostalgic taste or injecting some fresh concepts into hawker centres. The Durian Gelato here strikes a nice balance of the pungent fruit and milkiness of the gelato, though it may disappoint Mao Shan Wang fans. Waffles are better than some cafes; buttery and crisp with a drizzle of maple syrup to taste.
Part of the "Fruit" series here. Chocolate sauce and chopped bananas are a classic combination that can never go wrong. Wished the batter was crispier and tastier though.
