Newly opened opposite my place. Finally had a chance to visit it. Ordered the crispy crab linguine under the staff's recommendation and boy it was decent! Crispy soft shell crab with the al dente textured linguine was a deadly combination! Pasta sauce was alittle spicy though. Try this dish if your not hot enough! 脆皮蟹肉配搭義大利麵。蟹醬雖然有點辣但麵條的口感彈牙恰好！蟹肉建議大家盡快吃避免脆皮被蟹醬搭爛

Simpang Bedok is commonly known as a supper place where tons of prata houses including the famous Spize is located. Now you can add Burning Oak into the Simpang Bedok food list. Located at the former old hawker centre behind Spize which is now revamped with many other concept stalls, the Burning Oak serves bloody good cow meat! The gyudon and Porkcheek combo is a must try! The wagyu beef is tender beyond belief and the pork cheeks needless to say, taste even more tender than butt cheeks ;) Owner claims that the beef is slow-cooked in a vacuum container for 24hrs to bring out the tenderness of the beef..Unbelievable..be there early cuz they sell out fast! 超好吃的牛排豬肉飯！慢熬的牛肉以及鬆軟的豬肉嫩到融化在嘴裡！甜味爆慘了！大量推薦大家去品嚐！

I know this photo seems abit undermining but I swear this plate of seafood risotto is famazing!! prawns and scallops are chunky and risotto tasted just nice! If u are into culinary u will know it's not easy to cook a decent plate of risotto. Alittle overcooked and it will taste like teochew porridge. Well done prego!

Regular ribeye steak which standard is close to that of a restaurant's. Ribeye is tender and doneness is close to how I want it to be. But don't understand why I'm still paying restaurant prices in a coffeeshop?? I mean I give them credits for coming out with a fine dining in a kopitiam concept but the prices are not really justifiable. But I have to say the food there is really not bad for a coffeeshop

Prawn Aglio Olio for $9.90?? Only at toTTful cafe (Katong; near Bank of China). I have no complains.. When I saw the menu I asked my friend:"eh how ar, we can anyhow order know." The food is not bad and pricing is really reasonable! of course don't expect fine dining standards here for this pricing. Place is pretty chill and homely as well. Great place for gatherings!

2 pieces of fried dory served with fries and malt vinegar. Batter wasn't very crispy and it was a little moist on the inside. The malt vinegar goes well with the fish though. For 17 bucks, it's passable I guess. More of a hang/chill out place after a hectic day of work

Pretty impressive fish & chip stall hidden at a corner coffeeshop in Toa Payoh. Serves only fish fillet with a choice of chips, greens or mash potatoes. Fish batter is crispy and tender and moist on the inside. Goes really well with the malt vinegar provided. Been awhile since I had good fish & chip. Highly recommended to those who wanna reminisce the taste of Britain!

Stuffed chicken thigh meat with Ricotta cheese and mashed potatoes ($16.90). The dish was not too bad but wasn't filling.

Their signature beef patty burger which they call it the 'B' burger. Ala carte pricing is about $16 before tax. The beef patty is thick and really succulent unlike those common hard and dry patty that u get in most places. I got the set which consists of a huge plate of garden salad, a choice of the 'B' burger or the chicken burger and a mini sundae. Whole set comes to about $30 after tax. Price wise rather acceptable for that standard. Nice place to chill as well!

Warm bittersweet Chocolate Lava Torte with Berries Compote and Vanilla ice cream ($10.90; A 4 course meal cost ~$30) So far I've hardly come across a terrible chocolate lava cake. This one is no exception and is as acceptable as it looks. The berries sauce compliments well with the Vanilla ice cream. Highly recommended among the other dessert options!

Australian Ribeye with Roasted Potatoes and Red Wine Sauce ($22.90; A 4 course meal costs ~$30) Ribeye is alittle thin for a steak, but doneness was there as I liked it to be. Not really worth the ala carte pricing if you ask me. The course meals offered is much more worth it!

Grilled Sea Scallops with Baby Spinach and Avocado Salsa ($15.90; A 4 course set would about $30 bucks) The avocado salsa is amazingly concocted! This dish would be perfect if they used those huge juicy Hokkaido scallops!
