Their specialty is their egg noodles - so springy and chewy!! It's got a good bite which is what I like, unlike the thin ones. The wanton itself was pretty small, but the char siew was quite nice :)
It's got the wok hei!! The hor fun was wet and tasty and so flavourful! They were quite generous with the small shrimps and meat as well. Would buy again!
I like the noodles here, firm to the bite, somewhat al dente. The braised gravy/soup was also quite thick and flavourful. Reasonable portion of ingredients too.
This stall attracts a long queue every day, dishing out many plates of hor fun and fried rice. I like that they were pretty generous in the portions, particularly for the wallet friendly price of $4! However, I felt the hor fun could do with more wok hei.
This is the 滑蛋 version, not the fried, which is more to my preference. I like that this hor fun has the wok hei, plus the texture is silky smooth too! The serving of seafood quite generous too. Not a bad choice for a weekday lunch, plus in the comfort of aircon!
Hardly can you ever find dumpling noodles that's priced at $3! I like the plump dumplings with sufficient fillings, and the skin wasn't too thick too. The noodles were the thinner kind, but it's just my preference to have those slightly thicker egg noodles. Nevertheless, good find in our hawker centres!
As the name goes, it's a 'zhng-ed up' murtabak with all the ingredients inside - mutton, chicken, mushroom, egg, cheese. It's packed with much flavours and oh so sinfully good! The portion is meant for 2 so share it with someone!
I know this stall is famous for the mee hoon kway, but I wasn't feeling like it that day, so I ordered this dish instead. The broth was a bit too salty for my liking, although the noodles had a good bite. I'd prefer minced meat to meatballs, but I guess overall it is a decent dish.
I heard that the chef from this stall used to work at Putien, and now he's dishing out similar dishes from that restaurant in this humble food court! This noodles had that wok hey - so tasty and flavourful (though very salty)!! Comes with a variety of ingredients like clams, sotong, mushrooms, prawns, veggies. Definitely a steal for this quality and quantity!
The smoked duck was really good! It's quite a creative dish, something you won't really think the combi will work. But it did, and I'll order this again!
Honestly this was ordinary - the meat was decent and the skin was a little thick. Couldn't distinguish anything special from the other dumplings we eat in hawker centres/coffee shops. Would probably order another kind of dumplings next time.
My partner preferred this bowl to the Miso Mushroom Noodles. It may seem somewhat like Bak Chor Mee but the pork used here is not minced meat, and it's softer and the whole dish was tastier.
