A little pricey for a few pieces of French toast but it was pretty well done!
Good burger with a really nicely done beef patty that was very juicy and evenly cooked.
We were there to try the nut butter toast but it would only be ready at 10.30am so we had the Good Morning Plate ($9 + $3 for half an avocado) instead and it was a terrible disappointment, way too simple for the price paid. The hard boiled egg could have at least been seasoned a little? And the fruits weren’t even good - the grapes weren’t fresh, and the avocado was underripe (it was CRUNCHY). Service was slow and they also forgot my drink. Not going back there again.
Creamy mushrooms on sourdough ($14) with scrambled eggs (+3) and Italian sausages (+3). In the background is the Low and slow pulled pork ($20). Both items were delicious and flavorful. This is a great place to visit for a hearty breakfast, especially for the early risers since they open at 8am. Their iced chocolate (with a scoop of ice cream on top!) was also one of the better iced chocolates I’ve had.
The setting here is very laid back, with soft jazzy music in the background. Great for a relaxing brunch with decent food and drinks at decent prices.
Every part of this plate was so well executed! The little tomatoes were the most surprising, they looked plump and uncooked but were in fact baked and they exploded into juices in the mouth. My partner had this - I'm not usually a breakfast/brunch food person but would definitely order this the next time I'm there.
On a quiet end of orchard, this place was rather quiet even on a Saturday evening. Nice place to have dinner and catch up with some friends. Food and service was good, and this crab pasta is probably one of the best I've had.
Tucked at the end of the street, Da Paolo is actually the most bustling restaurant along the stretch. I really loved the pastas and the pizzas were quite good too, and in good portions. Can't wait to visit the other da paolo restaurants!
According to the boyfriend, the drip coffee was really good with a kick but the ice blended royal hazelnut I had was just bad. Just syrupy and sweet and tasted artificial.
This place certainly lives up to the hype. Hard to get to and parking is a pain (unless you're lucky enough to get a lot within the premise) but certainly worth a visit. Their menu is small but each dish is very well done! This pork rack was well marinated and goes really well with the interesting side dishes of braised cabbage and grape compote. Decent prices with no service charge or GST, made even more worthwhile with the entertainer app.
Food was decent I suppose but not enough to bring me back again. The mentaiko pasta was creamy with some umami flavors from the seaweed, delicious at first but got quite heavy and jelat towards the end.
Returned here after two years for this mussels and clams pot. The broth has been changed (used to be a clear broth instead of a milky one) but still delicious. The mains here are on the pricier side but I guess the huge portions make up for it.
