Cafe For Afternoon Tea
Singaporean's Guide To Ulu Café Hopping

The Populus of Bugis, sans luxurious napkins. Choose between gloomy, overcast windows or a brightly-lit, air-conditioned alfresco area.
Food:
1) Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict [$18.00]
Brightly-coloured Chipotle Hollandaise was fine. The choice of American-meets-Indian marinade was a little weak for the pulled pork, and ultimately, becomes unmemorable.
2) Orange Cinnamon French Toast [$15.00]
My first reaction after slicing open the bread was, "Oh, it's white!" Orange cinnamon is a unique & welcome take on French Toast toppings, but it isn't aggressive enough to my liking. The two strips of brittle bacon snaps were great, but not enough to make a $15 brunch item.
3) Duck & Waffle [$22.00]
Waffle was hard and devoid of fluff & joy. The duck was good, but hitting just above the ranks of cheaper joints like Saveur. Meanwhile, the sorbet was actually lovely. Again, for its derived satisfaction, it's a bit overpriced.
4) Hot Chocolate [$5.00]
Comes with beautiful yet durable Lion Latte Art. Why'd you always Lion?
To me, the unevenly-coated, pale-in-the-middle $15 French Toast & tough Waffle represents everything disappointing with 20F; easy on the eye, but without inner substance to inspire a return.
Come Here: Maybe?
$5 for regular cappuccino ; $7 iced chocolate ; $9.50 red velvet cream cheese cake. Service is a little slow but prompt, good food & coffee. Will definitely be back
$16 for its waffle, it's so good! Worth every cent although the pricing is on the higher side. $7 for a pot of tea - oolong apple is very light & nice! But GST is not inclusive in the pricing. Good service too!
$10 for the waffle cup w/coffee. One of the most delicious coffee I've ever had, smooth texture and good combo with the white Choco, u can choose milk or dark chico too. Service is excellent!
$3.80/100gram. There's about 6 flavors to choose from. Original are our favorite by far, creamy yet light texture. Best of all its all using organic product and stevia is widely use in all flavors in substitute of sugar. The ambience and staff are great.
$5.50 for regular cappuccino ; $6.50 for regular Caramel Cream. Great ambience, lots of great insta-friendly corner.
Tasty all-day-breakfast. Side dishes on the higher side of value, but the churos is quite tasty not the best but if you are willing to spend around $13-15 it's worth a try. Great coffee with good roast.
Good coffee, it'll be great if there's tables to sit and chillax but it's still ideally located with great staff. $4 for a small coffee
Known here for sometime, the staff could remember me by name, very friendly staff and cozy environment. $4 for small cappu, consistence coffee without the need to add sugar. Big breakfast starts around $16 if I didn't remember wrongly.
The bakery has always been great, consistence standard of food and coffee. Price might be a wee bit on the higher end for bakery but it's worth every cent. $5 for coffee
I ordered a cappu $5, my bf ordered their special blend of ice Choco $7. Great ambience, small cafe but it feels very warm and cosy. Nice for an afternoon coffee
