RAMEN. ๐
Ordered the strong broth and you could literally taste that intensity of the pork broth within that is so thick and sinful. This one comes with Sukiyaki Pork and an egg. It's quite interesting how the broth changes over time; the fatty bits of the pork melting into the soup causing chewable blobs within and the runny egg that is ever-slippery that would just slide around the bowl and eventually get absorbed into the broth, creating a less heavy but more refreshing broth alongside the noodles. For a guy who doesn't really fancy Ramen, I am in love!
After wandering around basement four of ION Orchard debating what to have, we decided on this ramen place. They offer a choice of red miso, white miso and shoyu for the soups of which I chose the red miso. Found it quite concentrated and intense but rather oily. The pork slices were mushily soft and seemed to have been marinated in some kind of sauce which gave it a lot of flavour. Quite a change from the classic chashu. Egg is sold separately.
