Located in this brightly lighted coffee shop, I found Chef Recipe which offers a wide variety of affordable priced western dishes. The place was a short walk from the MRT station. Besides the usual chicken chop and fish & chips, the menu also covers salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches, cheese baked rice, and burgers. So many choices making me difficult to decide.

In the end, I selected Rosemary Lamb with Pepper Mint Sauce 迷选香羊扒（薄荷黑胡椒汁）(S$11.90), while my dining mate had Chicken Cutlet 香脆炸鸡排 (S$8.50).
Both dishes were served with fries and a choice of side item. Love the presentation of both dishes.

The lamb was tender and went well with the mint sauce served by the side. The accompanying side of Mac & Cheese was rich in flavour.

While walking, I was drawn by the rich aroma of coffee bean to this place. A tiny place located in the HDB block facing the reservoir. There’s limited bar counter seats indoor, plus some stools outside. The place offered a selection of freshly made drinks with a limited display of bakes.

Bench Signature Cafe Latte (S$5)
The pecan praline latte was nutty and chocolaty with rich aromatic earthy smell. The rich smell simply peaked me up easily. Leaving behind a rich aftertaste.

Bench Signature Matcha Latte (S$5)
Using 100% pure uji matcha powder from Kyoto, Japan, it was hand whisked with a traditional bamboo whisk.

Between the two drinks, I preferred the cafe latte more as it displayed a various of different notes. The delicate matcha latte on the other hand seem to be slightly overpowered by the milk.
