Best Places For Prawn Noodles
Take a trip to China with #LeShrimpRamen with their take on Ma Po Tofu with Minced Shrimp Ramen 🦐
Available till 31 Mar, enjoy this seasonal option that comes with firm tofu cubes cooked in their spicy sauce, topped with beancurd crisps & Szechuan pickled diced vegetables for that additional texture. Instead of the usual minced meat, Le Shrimp added their twist to it by adding minced shrimp instead, which adds to the sweetness of the dish.
As it comes on a milder spice scale, feel free to opt for more chilli when you order!
If you are a Paradise Gourmet Rewards (PGR) member or MayBank card holder, you'd be able to get this bowl at $14.90 (U.P $15.90)!
Today's the day to try food that has shifted from their original place. Next up is the Long House Prawn Mee! I miss you prawn meeeee! What's good about this is the prawns, fat & juicy though it's just the normal prawn mee (S$5)! The difference is that the soup base has the taste of pork ribs more than the prawn shells, so it isn't as thick as the usual. But it's still good nonetheless!

If you’ve heard of Le Shrimp Ramen, you’d have heard of how thick the broth is. Prawns are baked for 45 minutes before being crushed and simmered for 8 hours. So you can imagine how thick the broth is.
.
Just for this weekend, a new seasonal dish is available, and the best part, it’s one for one! The Le Shrimp Trio Tossed Ramen ($19.90) is a dry version of the usual Le Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen ($19.90).

After it’s great success at its first outlet, Le Shrimp Ramen now as 2 more, located at The Star Vista & Changi Airport, T3!
Similar to its signature bowl, the noodles are tossed with a mixture of their in-house sauce, and topped with baked prawns, fried shallots, cabbage, shrimp dumplings and their mashed shrimp topped with ebiko! This prawn-filled bowl of noodles is accompanied by their amazing deep prawn soup which is to die for.
The soup is made from baked prawns baked for 45 mins, before being crushed into bits and simmered for 8 hours to give you this amazing, rich, prawn-y broth that leaves you drooling.
Shifting out of Golden Mike Food Centre & into Ghim Moh Market, Prawn Village is garnering a steady flow of customers as they run their store from 6am till 1:30pm, catering to the breakfast & lunch crowds.
At $4, choose from a variety of noodles (that includes healthier options such as whole grain noodles), before diving into a prawn-sweetened soup broth, topped with fall-off-the-bone pork ribs, prawns, kangkong & their leek fish cake.
An extremely satisfying bowl of prawn noodles as the soup broth is thick, yet not overwhelming that you’d get a heart attack, it’s sad that I’m leaving this area once the year ends ):
Slurp-worthy pork rib broth with a hint of prawns covers every spoonful of well tossed kway teow & yellow mee with crunchy bits of bean sprouts, lean meat & prawns. Throw in a few small bits of chilli padi & you've got yourself a good warm spicy bowl of goodness.
Instead of the usual yellow mee & beehoon, ramen adds an interesting texture & bite to the dish. Pork ribs cooked till a soft peel-off-the-bone level with crunchy prawns topped with lard bits & fried shallots. Only downside was that the soup tasted a tad bit watered down, or else the dish is pretty good!

My favourite of all time! The thick soup broth is the reason why I'm always back for more. Not only is the soup broth good, their juicy fish cakes works as appetizers while you wait in line for your noodles. Remember to come early, otherwise you may spend another 15-30 minutes waiting for seats!
